Design and Technology at The Meadows is taught through the investigation, design and make process that identifies a product that has a purpose and a user. Pupils decide on the form their product will take, how their product will work, what task or tasks it will perform and who the product will be for. Throughout their time at The Meadows, children will develop their knowledge and skills across the areas of food technology, mechanisms and mechanical systems, textiles, structures and electrical systems. We hope that the next generation of designers, engineers, makers and builders, are inspired by their learning at The Meadows.
